Illinois Basic Security Training

In Illinois, aspiring unarmed security guards must complete a 20-hour training course as part of the licensing process. This course, offered by licensed providers, covers essential security guard knowledge and skills. Successful completion of the training is a prerequisite for obtaining a PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card)
